MOVIE REVIEW: Resident Evil: Retribution

 “Resident Evil:
Retribution” is irrefutable proof that a dead movie franchise is nowhere near
dead as long as there’s a paying audience. Like the boss in “Weekend At
Bernie’s,” this is a battered corpse being propped up and manipulated as though
it’s still alive and breathing, used to trick only the credulous into believing
there’s a beating heart behind the cadaverous exterior.
