If there is one predictable thing about life, it is the curiously unpredictable way in which cruel fate toys with humans. It can continually reward the wicked and it can also just as easily test the righteous to the verge of death. At the risk of sounding like Optimus Prime, sometimes life doesn’t play fair. Like when Aron Ralston got his arm trapped between a boulder and a canyon wall in 2003.
